Hrishikesh Datar

Hrishikesh Datar is an Indian drummer, composer, producer, singer-songwriter, and independent artist based in Pune, India. A recipient of multiple industry honors including the Filmfare Award, Mirchi Music Award, Sakal Premier Award, and Zee Chitra Gaurav Award, he is known for seamlessly blending contemporary sounds with deep-rooted musical traditions. As a composer and producer, Hrishikesh has created music for acclaimed Marathi films including Double Seat, Anandi Gopal, Girlfriend, Muramba, and YZ. His work spans film scores, independent releases, and cross-genre collaborations, reflecting a versatile approach to songwriting and music production. Hrishikesh has appeared on celebrated television platforms such as MTV Unplugged, The Dewarists, and Times of Music. As a touring drummer, he has performed extensively with leading artists including Agnee, Monali Thakur, Richa Sharma, Ajay-Atul, and Clinton Cerejo, appearing on stages across India and around the world.
